A Message From Vicki

My name is Vicki Talmage.  I have spent the last 31 years learning and practicing the art of healing my body. My journey has taken many paths which were unknown to me, considering that I have come from a Medical Background, beginning an Internship Program at a prominent hospital when I was 16 years old.

How I Became Involved…

Beginning when I was born until a young adult age, I basically spent 4 days of every week in a hospital. I was the ‘sick kid’. The Doctor told me when I was 8 that I probably wouldn’t live past the age of 20.

In a nutshell, that process led me to heal myself with food.  I became a Vegan 31 years ago and have been a Raw Foodist for 20 years.  But that isn’t what I wanted to blog about today. I want to say how amazed I am at the capacity of the human body to heal itself, when given some simple agents.  Wow.

My Training…

This year I decided that I wanted to ride in the St George Century Bike Ride on February 20th. For those of you who haven’t heard of this, it is riding my road bike for 100 miles.  A few years ago that number would have scared me!!  But now I think it’s do-able.  Okay, that is IF my ego can support me!!

While recovering from a Herniated Disc at L2 and L4….
