Body Cleansing

Body cleansing is an integral part of optimum health.

Many degenerative diseases have causal affect from impaction in the colon. If we can rid the colon of excess blockages and toxins, we can replenish the electrolyte reserves and rebuild the cellular structure.

When we live a balanced lifestyle, our body heals. We enjoy peace of mind, clarity, and increased energy and vitality. When the bowel becomes over toxic, the blood is forced to pick up these toxins and deliver them to the liver. The liver eventually loses its ability to function normally and cannot filter the toxic substances from the body. The other organs are affected, and the immune system depresses, creating a breeding ground for all types of diseases.

After we body cleanse, we then learn to feed the body with an increase of raw-living foods; to regenerate the body’s systems and organs.

We have created a cleansing program that is thorough, gentle, and effective. With proper education, the herbal cleanse and colonics, we offer an effective tool for you to achieve your optimum health and to reach your goals for your body, as well as increasing your digestion and assimilation.

With some determination and personal integrity, you can turn around many of your diseases. The first month of cleansing will remove much of the unwanted plaque that is sapping your energy now. It is wise, after you have completed the first month of intensive cleansing, to continue a smaller cleanse every 3 months. Through proper food combining and 50% raw-living foods, your body will continue to release the old buildup in the colon. The small intestine now has a place to release its toxins and buildup, and then organs can then eliminate their toxins as well. You have opened up once again the eliminative channel for the entire body.

Weight Management

Our bodies are gauges to determine the level of our health. They will manifest on the outside what is either working or not working on the inside. If we understand that healthy functioning bodies and emotions are essential for optimum weight, we resist the temptation of fad diets or starvation programs. Wheatgrass Juice

Along with balanced food therapy, we use a wonderful substance called wheatgrass juice. It truly is the King of Herbs. It is a complete, life sustaining and rebuilding substance.

When you detoxify the body, I encourage the drinking of wheatgrass juice to assist the body in cleansing and eventually in the healing of the cellular structure and rebuilding the organs and tissues to healthy functions.

Wheatgrass juice is rich in chlorophyll. It also contains all of the essential amino acids, enzymes, and electrolytes. It is a complete protein. It is a blood builder, helps convert food to energy, improves mental balance, stimulates brain and nerve function, has the ability to slow cellular aging, assists in cell respiration, assists in protein digestion, facilitates starch digestion, and contains fat-splitting enzymes.

We suggest that you do a week of homework and have a good colonic, before starting your wheatgrass juice. The pre-cleansing colonic will assist your body in removing any obstructions that may be inhibiting the release of the poisons that wheatgrass juice may be dislodging. The function of the juice, at first, is to rid the poisons quickly out of any orifice that is open. It is wise to make sure that the eliminative channel is open so you don’t keep those toxins in your body to recycle. This creates uncomfortable cleansing reactions, and bloating.

When your body is open and cleansing, you can start out with 1 oz. of fresh wheatgrass juice each day for about a week. Increase the dosage every week by about an ounce, until you can drink about 4 oz. Coupled with wise eating habits and a good exercise program, the addition of 4 oz. wheatgrass juice is one of the best things that we can do for our bodies everyday.

Lemon Tahini Dressing

Fill to top of blender blades with sesame seeds. Blend to cornmeal consistency – this is homemade tahini!

Leave blender on and add:

1 C Cold-pressed Oil

Juice of one lemon

1/8 – 1/4 C Nama Shoyu or Kikkoman Soy sauce

4-8 stalks celery – chopped

1/4 small onion

½ red or green pepper – chopped

A few dashes black pepper

Blend well till smooth.

Ideas for a Yummy Salad Meal

Wash and cut: Spinach, romaine, curly kale or Lacinato kale, Swiss Chard, Dandelion greens, Collard Greens, Curly Kale, Beet Tops, etc.

Add any soil-grown greens like:

  • Buckwheat, Sunflower Greens, Pea Greens
  • Grate any root or ground vegetable like:
  • Carrots
  • Hubbard Squash
  • Beets
  • Zucchini
  • Yams, peeled
  • Radishes
  • Add any sprouts that you like.
  • Slice or chop any raw vegetable:
  • Cucumbers
  • Broccoli
  • Avocado
  • Mushrooms
  • Tomatoes
  • Cauliflower
  • Jicama
  • Raw corn on the cob
  • Add Green, Red, Yellow, Orange Peppers

Toss and serve with any of Vicki’s Dressings!
